When I was a kid my parents often took me to a Chinese restaurant in Burbank that only exists in my memory now. Since it closed in the early 2000s I searched far and wide for something that comes close. And Canton City is not just close, it makes me wonder if the owners of the Burbank restaurant, and Canton City are, at the very least, related. If not the same family and same recipes. The food is almost identical and hits every sentimental feeling I have in my bones. My absolute favorite is the chicken chow mein. Not the typical Chinese fast food noodles everyone is used to calling chow mein. It's made with bean sprouts. The first time I ordered it here I was warned "You know it's only bean sprouts?" I think I replied "Perfect" and it was. As if I wasn't already enamored, the last time I placed a delivery order I was sick. I had a nasty cough and when I finished my transaction the lovely soul I was dealing with said "Hope you feel better...I'll send you soup!" And he did! So sweet!

Wonderful tasty food the staff was more than helpful and pleasant. Very traditional outlook and appearance. 5 star recommend

Food is great. Service is great. Food was made promptly even in lunch rush hours. Place is clean. Can't wait to go back. They have pretty good lunch deals.

The food was really good. I had mongolian beef and chicken chow main. I was very surprised to see this version of chow main, I was like where are my noodles. I guess I'm used to the American version of chow main. Regardless it was good. I just didn't realice chicken chow main was just chicken with bean sprouts.
